Nepenthes sanguinea

| DESCRIPTION: Nepenthes sanguinea grows terrestrially in lower and upper montane forest, and prefers open areas. Lower and upper pitchers can reach up to 30 cm, and can be colours from green, through to orange and even deep purple. It commonly climbs and scrambles over vegetation on roadside embankments, and is easy to find in its habitat, where it grows prolifically.
